The "Citymakers Global Talks" are spaces sharing knowledge. We seek to connect passionate people in issues associated with city-making, for making them to inspire each other and inspire changes in their cities. We address issues related to our vision of city and frame them in five sectors: the internationalization and global projection of the city visited, its urban mobility, its built environment, its local economy and its governance.

This time, Barcelona as a brand city, invites us to discuss the massive topic of tourism in the city, its opportunities and challenges. For this purpose, we have brought together highly qualified professionals on the subject, to talk about their experiences, projects and visions in 20-minute talks and a final colloquium with questions from the public. We will contrast different visions about tourism in Barcelona to generate in the attendees a reflection on this phenomenon so present in our daily lives.

We are committed to a dynamic, fresh, open and free event, rich in analysis and reflection, that allows us to propose potential approaches that will offer a better future for our city, where tourism is a field full of opportunities and contributions to citizen welfare.
