CityMakers® is the global platform for on-site and advanced training in good city-making practices.
Our mission is to transform territories by connecting city-makers from all over the world in features cities, for learning from their praxis and inspire changes in their communities. We train in the art of city-making to local governments, social organizations, entrepreneurs, leaders and professionals in related sciences.
Our programs are structured from 5 sectors that contain a great diversity of issues, all of them related to City-Making exercise. These sectors help us to understand better the complexity of cities and how to face its ‘making’.
Architect and Master in Urban Planning and Environmental Management from the University of Barcelona; expert in smart cities and territories.
He has been a consultant of local governments on urban development issues, has developed architectural and urban projects in Colombia, Mexico and Chile, was director and associate professor for more than 10 years at the Faculty of Architecture of UPB University Colombia, as well as speaker and jury in multiple congresses and contests in Latin America and Europe.
Architect and Master in Urban and Territorial Development from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia - Barcelona Tech. Specialist in urban planning and urban security.
For more than 15 years he has developed architectural and urban projects around the world, especially in Colombia, Mexico, England, China and Spain. He has worked for local governments for the design and implementation of public policies in urban development, social housing and rehabilitation of neighborhoods. Also, he has participated as an invited speaker in multiple congresses on urban security.
